La reflexión como espectáculo
BARRANQUILLA — Today I reflect on the spectacle that is the act of reflection itself, according to the amazing team of Carnival Internacional de las Artes.

BARRANQUILLA – My Arubanness has always been questioned because of my lack of enthusiasm for carnival. Every time that happens I remember one of Paulo Coelho’s tweets, where he affirms his strong Brazilian identity despite not particularly liking carnival. Naturally I retweeted as I relate with his sentiment. An invite to participate in a carnival for the arts however, left me completely intrigued.
SAN NICOLAS — Whenever I am given the opportunity to work on anything San Nicolas related I draw a line that leads me right back to the people from San Nicolas. This was no exception.
ORANJESTAD – I hardly work on artistic projects by myself. The satisfaction that collaboration gives me is addictive. Sometimes I meet artists that I am sure I will work with in the future. It all happens when the time is right. I never know when that is so all I can do is be prepared when the moment arises.
