Maison Ryon | 2022 & 2023
Aruba’s ancient Indian rock drawings turn into wearable fashion in Maison Ryon‘s first solo collection. Crafted by the Arawak Indians, these pictographs and petroglyphs have intrigued archeologists, locals and visitors for decades. From the 458 documented carvings, creative director Ryon Dijkhoff selected four for the first collection (2022) and two for the second (2023). As these pendants carry our heritage, I pay homage through my poetic interpretation.
